Around the dawn of the personal computer, advocates proclaimed that there would be one of these fancy boxes in every home. A few dissented, of course. We see who won out.Similarly, if we assume for a moment that today’s advocates are right and 3-D printing or additive manufacturing is, if not the next household technology, then certainly a transformative business development, then what might it mean for advertising and marketing?
A really interesting experiment to get a deeper understanding of why consumers make the choices they make…
Worst ad placement ever?
Yeah, I think so.
Connected viewers are not only driving the rise of Social TV, their activities are opening new windows for real-time multi-screen experiences that require design.
What if advertisers no longer had the power to choose which screen was the first, second or third? Or, better yet, what if it didn’t matter? What if the first screen became the screen that is in front of you—whatever the content, context, time or event?
This is pretty crazy awesome. It’s a wall of small cubes that articulate based on software to create some next-gen shit. The demonstration was at EXPO 2012 in the Hyundai Motor Group pavilion in Korea

NIGHTFALL
Core77 is featuring two beautiful videos by photographer Colin Rich.
Korean artist Lee Kyu-Hak recreates paintings such as Van Gogh’s Sunflowers using wood blocks wrapped in coloured newspaper
If Bane was a designer, I think his darkness monologue might go something like this:
Awe you think design is your ally…
You merely adopted good design,
I was born in it, moulded by it,
I didn’t see bad kerning till i was already a man,
and by then it was blinding!Your layouts betray you because they belong to me!
I will show you where i’ve made my revisions,
while preparing to bring in the tagline,
then i will break you.Your precious creative suite gratefully accepted, I will need it…
Awe yes, i was wondering what would break first,
your spirit, or your file size.
